Obituary for Carol Harriet Marchington
December 23, 1935 Carol Harriet arrived to this world with her twin sister, born to Lillian and Harry Whipple in Minnesota. Carol and her six siblings shared humor through life’s hardships and struggles. All looked forward to family gatherings with laughter and pranks. Those who proceeded Carol in this journey are Audrey (Schmidt), Clair, Myron, and Duane. Jerry and Gail (Christians) join all of us in her loss.
Carol enjoyed her first job as a secretary and loved to do shorthand. Working at a clothes factory brought her lifelong friendships. Carol had several positions at a bank after moving to Montana in 1970. She loved working at a local auction barn and sales as a clerk. The joy she received from her sewing, gardening, and baking was enjoyed with friends and her five children. Steve, LaVonne (Frost), Beverly (Vogel), Thomas, and Penny (Capko). These five gave Carol such joy by gifting her life with 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Carol left us on October 26, 2021. There will be an internment with her twin sibling in Minnesota.
