Obituary for William 'Bill' Kombol
William “Bill” Kombol
William “Bill” Kombol was born on the family homestead north of Roundup on Jan. 4, 1925, the sixth child born to Matt and Mary Kombol. He passed away of renal kidney failure at TLC in Roundup with family at his side on December 1, 2016.
He worked the family ranch, and was also proud to have served his country in the Army. He had many other jobs in the area and was always willing to help those in need of a hand. He kept a beautiful garden, of which he was very proud, even through this past summer.
He is survived by his daughter, Tamie Kombol, husband (Rick Kuckler) of Roundup; sister, Mary Tillman of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Wally (Christina) Adolph of West Virginia, Kami (Chris) Medina of Washington and Nikkia Grasswick of Roundup; and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by nephew Terry (Cathy) Kombol of the family ranch; nieces, Vicki Kombol, Aretta (Wally) Papez, Kim (Don) DeVincent and Kris Corbett; and sister-in-law, Dolores Kombol.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at Wier Funeral Home. Services will be held at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church Friday, Dec. 9 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Roundup City Cemetery with military honors.
The family would like to thank all of the TLC Assisted Living Staff and the Hospice team for the care they gave to Bill.
