Obituary for Wesley Axel Russell
People were bringing even infants to Jesus that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they sternly ordered them not to do it. But Jesus called for them and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs."
The Holy Bible: New Revised Standard Version. (1989). (Lk 18:15–16). Nashville: Thomas Nelson Publishers.

With deep grief, yet profound faith, we entrust to God’s gracious care Wesley Axel Russell, born December 13th at 1257 am.
Wesley entered our hearts long before he entered this world, and he entered God’s kingdom before we laid eyes upon him.
We are thankful for a God who knows first-hand the pain and brokenness of this world, who weeps with us at this loss, and who has already welcomed Wesley Axel into his final home, where pain and grief give way to comfort and peace.
Wesley is survived by his parents, Justin and Valeri Russell; siblings Tyler Leonard, Alexander Timothy and Samantha Jane Russell, Great grandfather Leonard Wall; grandparents, Bryan and Kathy Adolph, Pam Russell and Glen Russell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wesley Axel will always have a place in our hearts and in our lives. We all cherish your love, support and prayers. A private service will be held for the family at the Zion Lutheran Church.
