Obituary for Virginia Ruth Jennaway
Roundup—Virginia Ruth Jennaway went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2018.
She was born November 17, 1934 in Melstone, Montana to Art and Ruth Kincheloe.
She attended grade school and high school in Melstone graduating in 1952. She married Morris Jennaway on November 24, 1952 and together they raised 4 children, Nancy Jennaway, Brenda (Joe) Vescovi of Roundup, Charley (Becky) of Melstone and Kelly Jennaway of Bozeman. She had 7 grandchildren, Rachelle Morton, Ross Vescovi, Rori Miner, Jack Jennaway, Hannah Jennaway, Carie Jennaway and Kyle Jennaway; Seven great-grandchildren, Stella and Rocky Morton, Ian and Mia Vescovi, Sienna and Seeley Miner and Jeddy Lohs. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Virginia belonged to the Melstone Bible Church and the Musselshell Homemakers Club. She supported her children by attending sporting events, 4-H projects and school activities. She liked to play cards, loved country music, reading, cooking, visiting friends and family gatherings. She considered her large extended family her greatest treasure.
She had a strong faith and actually took one day at a time, not worrying about what the future would bring. Virginia was always willing to lend a hand, cook a meal or visit those in need.
In 2015 Virginia moved into Sunflower Gardens Assisted Living in Roundup, MT. She was able to keep up with family as her nieces Tana Cates and Jenny Seamster owned and operated the facility. Many Melstone friends and family came by to visit. She received excellent care there and enjoyed her last few years.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 29 at the Melstone Bible Church.
Burial will follow at the Melstone Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Condolences may be expressed to the family at wierfuneralhome.com.
