Roundup- Vicki Jo Kombol (Prairie Woman) was born Nov. 29, 1948 and departed on Dec. 22, 2023. She was born the 1st of six children born to Joe and Dolores Kombol of Roundup.
Vicki attended Signe school until the 8th grade and then attended high school in Roundup, graduating in 1967. After graduating, Vicki moved to California for a short time, then moved back to Roundup and married Vern Klostrich in 1969. Vicki and Vern later divorced. In 1971, Vicki gave birth to her first son Joe. In 1974, she married Rick Green. In 1975 her second son Kolby was born. Vicki worked for Green Acres, Texaco, Pioneer Café, Musselshell County Sheriff's Office, and in home health care. Vicki was very talented in anything she put her mind to. She enjoyed arts and crafts and woodworking. Her paintings, afghans, horn lamps and beaded work, and her woodworking creations will be cherished forever by many friends of hers.
She was also a very artistic bead worker. Vicki loved animals of all types. She loved to travel in her trusty pickup “Liberty”. Vicki also had a very special bond with her father Joe Kombol. In later years Vicki enjoyed listening and phoning into the local radio station to talk with her friends Bill and Mike.
Vicki is survived by her son Kolby Green of Great Falls, siblings; Rett (Wally) Papez of Bridger, Terry (Cathy) Kombol of Roundup, Kim (Donnie) of Bridger, and Kristie Corbett of Bridger and granddaughters Baylee (Boyd) Pletan and Rylee Green.
Vicki is preceded in death by parents Joe and Dolores Kombol, son Joe Green and sister Peggy Stephenson.
