Obituary for Shelly Rae Sharbono
On the 21st of December, 2023, Shelly Rae Sharbono, loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend lost her battle with lung cancer. Shelly had been fighting the battle for just over two years and even through those tough years she touched the lives and brought joy to so many. Shelly was selfless with her baking, giving, storytelling and laughing and she will be missed by all.
Shelly was born in Blythe, CA in 1957. She spent much of her life, including where she raised five kids, between Polson and Charlo, Montana. Second only to her family, Shelly loved animals. One of her favorites in recent years was her milk cow Mable. While living in Polson she built a life around horses, appaloosas in particular, and for many years showed and bred her prize stud, Toppy. As mentioned, the thing she loved the most was her family. Shelly sacrificed and loved her family and savior and in her waking hours neither were far from mind and both close to her heart.
Shelly passed away peacefully, to be with the Lord, with family at her side while living in Roundup, Montana, right next door to family and in a community she'd quickly come to love and become a part of.
Shelly is survived by her husband, Eddie, daughter Denae, sons Dwayne and his wife Bobbie, Caleb, Jacob and his wife Michelle and youngest son Joshua and his wife Deidre along with Shelly's many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She's also survived by her older brother Dirk and younger siblings, Daniel and Wanda.
