Obituary for Richard Louis Viktora

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Richard Louis Viktora, who left us on June 3rd, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on October 19, 1947 in Austin, Minnesota.

Richard spent many years as a dedicated public transportation bus driver in Everett, Washington. After his retirement, he settled in the small, close-knit community of Roundup, Montana, where he spent the remainder of his life. Richard's guiding principle was to treat his friends and family with dignity and the love of the Lord. Known for his generosity and readiness to help anyone in need, Richard’s kind spirit touched many lives. His loved ones will remember him for his unwavering kindness and the warmth he brought to every interaction. He found joy in riding motorcycles, attending potlucks at church on Sundays, and watching western movies, especially those featuring John Wayne. His favorite TV show was "Gunsmoke," and he never missed an opportunity to dine at his beloved "Chicken Ranch" (known to others as Pizza Ranch, but he only ate the chicken). Richard cherished traveling with his significant other, Patsy, sharing many adventures and creating lasting memories together.

Richard is survived by his son, Wesley Viktora; his brother Pete Viktora; grandchildren, Erika, Thane and Tanner Viktora; as well as numerous great grandchildren, friends and neighbors who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claire Grever and Wesley Charles Viktora; and his son, Stanley Viktora.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Richard's life at a memorial service on June 12th, 2024, at 11am in the Gospel Country Church.

Richard Louis Viktora's legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness will continue to inspire all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed but his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever. Rest in peace, Richard.
