Obituary for Reid Vernon Yates
Reid Vernon Yates
Dec. 8, 2002 – June 11, 2022
Was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident.
Reid was born in Billings, Montana at St. Vincent Hospital to Kimberly Yates.
He grew up in Roundup going to all of his school years in Roundup and Graduating in 2021.
Reid grew up loving the outdoors including fishing, ice fishing, hunting, four wheeling and snowmobiling.
He learned at an early age with his Papa and Mom by his side. He would refab his bicycles and wagons to his liking. He had some Awesome creations ! We knew Reid had a great ability for fabrication at an early age. He was also an amazing mechanic.
Reid was always helping someone, he was just that kind of person ! If you were Reid’s friend,
You knew it. His friends meant the world to him. He had a smile that would light up the world, an amazing sense of humor and gave the most amazing hugs.
Reid was in the process of taking over his Papa’s welding business and helping in his Mom’s greenhouse.
He is survived by his Mother, Kimberly Yates (Jay Newton), Father, Mike Witzleban, His Uncle Chris and Cousins Casey and Carissa (Gillette, WY), Uncle Mark (Deb) Yates (Roundup), and Cousins Janelle, James and Athena (Billings).
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Karen and Robert R.V. Yates and Bonnie Witzleben.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 23rd at the Roundup Community Stage at 11:00 am.
In Lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to the Rimrock Humane Society in Reid’s name.
Condolences may be expressed to the family at wierfuneralhome.com.
