Oliver (Oly) Wendell Oddan passed away Oct. 17th, 2017 at Roundup Memorial
Healthcare Extended Care Unit after battling MS for 32 years.
He was born in Montevideo, M N . Aug. 14th, 1946 to Virginia Nies and
Oliver Oddan. He was raised on a farm in Big Bend, M N . Where his love
For hunting and fishing began. He attended a country grade school and
Graduated from Milan High School in 1964 and attended U o f M
Morris, graduating with a major in biology in 1968. He married
Jill Jensen on Dec. 29th, 1967 and son Lance and daughter Jennifer
Were born to this union.
After serving in the Air Force at Travis AFB, in California the
Family moved to Stillwater, M N . Oly worked as a Nursing Home
Administrator while attending William Mitchell College o f Law. He
Practiced Law in Stillwater until moving to Montana in 1992.
Where he met his soul mate Vivian Edwards. They traveled
The world and saw fascinating places and met some life long
Friends along the way.
Oly loved Roundup and became a member of the R M H Association
Board, Art and Culture Book Club, RSVP and the 4 pm Coffee
Club at the Blue Star.
Oly is survived by Vivian Edwards, Son Lance (Beth) Oddan
Grand daughter Anne and grandson Joe, Daughter Jennifer (Jared)
Bangert and grand daughters Kasey, Shelby, and Molly. Brothers
Steve Oddan, John Oddan and Sisters Linda Oddan, Mary
Oddan and Margaret (Lynn) Christiansen. Lots o f nieces and
Nephews and cousins. Vivian's daughter Kris Bauer, Sons
John (Angle), Willie, and Richie Edwards and grandkids. Willow,
Johnalee, Madison, Blake, William, Skyelyn and Joe Edwards
