Obituary for Nancy Carol Jones Hammett
Nancy Carol Jones Hammett
Nancy Carol Jones Hammett was born on January 1, 1955. At the age of 64 she passed away on March 8, 2019 at UCHealth in Aurora, CO.
She is survived by her daughter Tana Ray (Dan), grandsons James (Caitlin) and Kyle of Roundup. Sister Debbie Holzworth of Billings, brother William “Billy” Jones (Linda) of the family ranch in Broadview. Nieces Stacy, Carla and Terrie. Nephews Travis, Bob, and Shane. Brother-in-law Bob (Meri) of Worden.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wally of 40 years, her parents William and Mardell Jones, and nephew Brandon “Skeeter” Rittierodt.
Nancy’s pride and joy were going to car shows in the 30 Soto with her husband and friends. If she wasn’t traveling in the old car, she was outside with her grandsons at the family home in the bull mountains.
Nancy’s smile and laugh will be greatly missed, especially in the meat department at Picchioni’s IGA where she had been working for 32 years.
A memorial service will be held at Wier Funeral Home on March 22 at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Roundup Cemetery. Condolences maybe expressed to the family at wierfuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Roundup FFA 525 6th Ave W Roundup, MT 59072.
Mom, we will miss you dearly but hope you Rest in Peace with Dad by your side. We Love You
