Roundup—Myra Jane Solberg, 91
Myra Jane Solberg passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 quietly in her home with family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Myra was born March 5, 1927 in Roundup, MT to Carl and Gertrude Carlson. She graduated from Klein High School.
She married Robert Lester Solberg on August 26, 1946 in Lavina, MT. They had two sons, John and Michael. They farmed near Lavina and later moved to Roundup where they owned the Stockman Bar for 15 years and stayed in Roundup after retirement.
After her husband died in 2008 she moved to Homes on the Range where she made some very special friends and took up a lot of hobbies and activities.
Myra is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, John, siblings, Vic Carlson, Vi Paulus, Jack Carlson, Julie Enman, Carleen Egge, Bert Sweten and Al Carlson.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Linda) Solberg, Roundup, her grandsons, Ron Solberg, Roundup, Robert (Zoye) Solberg, Helena, granddaughter, Dawn (Mickie) Benzel, Roundup, great-granchildren, Brittany Alt (Tony), Moses Lake, WA, Andrew Alt (Kaitlyn), Dickinson, ND, Sydney Alt, Roundup, Cocoa-Chanel, Helena, siblings, Cora Campbell, Hayden, ID, Ann Brenchley, Strausburg, CO, and Paul (Nadine) Carlson, Great Falls. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews that held a special place in her heart.
Family was very important to her and she kept up with all her extended family one way or another.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned as to her wishes.
