Obituary for Marie` Rose Woodard
Marie Woodard, 90, of Harlowton, Montana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, at Wheatland Memorial Healthcare surrounded by her loving family.
One of five siblings she born October 19th, 1935, in Dover, New Hamshire, to parents Chester McKinley Pillsbury and Maria Pillsbury. Marie loved flowers, gardening, the beauty of nature and all living things. It was her relationship with Jesus Christ that was most important to her. There was never any doubt about her Faith nor where she stood with it. Marie witnessed to her family the unconditional love of God and was a living example of love. She is now reunited with her loved ones, the ones who went ahead of her into eternity. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. In 1954 Marie married Blaine Woodard of Grass Range, MT.
Marie is survived by her sister, Betty Schmidt of Billings, MT. Six children Joni Udelhoven of Grass Range, MT; Debra Adolph of Roundup, MT; Christy Woodard of Nixa, Missouri; Nancy Cain of Indianapolis, Indiana; Blaine Woodard of Minot, ND; and John Woodard of Harlowton, MT their spouses, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Chester Phillsbury JR, sisters Dorothy and Nancy, her ex-husband Blaine, grandsons Asa Woodard, Jesse Adolph, and great-grandson Austin Wagner.
Services will be held Saturday, December 27th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Wier Funeral Chapel, 208 1st Street W, Roundup, MT. Officiating the service will be her son-in-law, Christopher Cain. Burial will follow in the Roundup city cemetery immediately following the funeral.
