Obituary for Linda L. Solberg
Linda L. (Sandbak) Solberg
February 18, 1950 – August 27, 2018
Linda died, surrounded by family, in Roundup after a struggle with cancer. She was born in Billings, MT and attended school in Broadview, MT, graduating from Lavina High School. On June 1, 1968, she married Michael (Mick) Solberg in Roundup, MT.
One of her biggest pleasures was keeping track and attending her grandkids’ activities and new adventures. Weekly drives with her husband were very special times. She loved her kitties Lando and Obie and her many hours of doing puzzles.
Linda enjoyed cooking, especially for her family at Christmas time. Ther probably aren’t many people in the community or individuals passing through town that had not tasted her great cooking. She always had a little trouble with “portion control”—a trait she passed down to her kids.
Family get togethers and all the crazy games played meant a lot to her and she will be missed greatly by her family.
Linda is survived by her husband, Mick; children Ron Solberg and Dawn (Mickie) Benzel both of Roundup; grandkids: Brittney Alt (Tony) , Andrew Alt (Katlyn), and Sydney Alt; sisters Pam (Bill) Combs of Houston, TX, and Cheryl Sandbak of Billings; brother Dennis (Diane) Sandbak of Billings; brother-in-law Gus Danielson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Elsie Sandbak, parents-in-law, Bob and Myra Solberg, and sister, Cindy Danielson.
Per her wishes, no services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda’s name may be made to the Musselshell County Ambulance Service.
