Obituary for Leah Elizabeth Bryan
Heaven's choir gained another angelic voice on November 25, 2014, when Leah went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! During her short 21 years on earth, she touched the lives of people across the globe. Growing up in several locations in Montana, the Musselshell/Roundup area was where she called home for most of her life. She was actively involved in 4H, Camp Lewtana, and Community Bible Church at Musselshell. After attending Camp Lewtana for a number of years, she eventually accepted the call to become a camp counselor, ministering to children for Christ. Her passion for spreading the Gospel to children developed in her a heart for mission work, and at age 17 she traveled to Kosova, spending the summer working with the European Christian Mission International. The following summer she again immersed herself in mission work, this time in Ireland with the United Beach Mission. Music became an important worship tool in her life as she learned to play a number of instruments and was dedicated to improving her vocal performance through the Casper College music program, where she completed her degree in May 2014. She sang in church choirs at Musselshell and Casper, WY, and was also a member of choirs at Casper College. Everywhere Leah went, the light of Christ shone brightly through her. Her compassion for others often led her to befriend the lonely, comfort the hurting, help those who were in need, and guide the lost. She had the ability to make deep, personal connections with people whom she only met briefly. Leah's life on here on Earth was not about her and what she could accomplish, but what God could accomplish through her. Her goal was simply to be a tool that her Savior would use to spread the Gospel message and guide others to a saving faith. And as much as she loved people, animals, and all that God had created, her desire was to enter Heaven's gate to spend eternity in the presence of Jesus Christ. Leah is survived by her parents, Ken and Alesia (Delphia, MT); her sister, Lauren (Delphia & Dillon, MT); grandparents, Paul & Anita Pickens (Buffalo, MO), Larry & Mary Jo Curtiss (Fresno, CA), and Sally Bryan (Paicines, CA); numerous uncles, aunts and cousins; and many, many friends everywhere whom she considered family. There will be a memorial service in Casper, WY, at the Wheeler Concert Hall at Casper College at 9 AM on Saturday, December 6. The funeral service will be held at Community Bible Church in Musselshell, MT, on December 13, at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at the Musselshell Cemetery.
