Obituary for Jordan Ashley Welch
Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, mommy, niece, cousin, and friend Jordan Ashley Welch left this world unexpectedly, at 25 years old, on March 3, 2022. Jordan (Jorge) was born January 7, 1997, to her loving parents Jack and Heather (Beehler) Welch. She joined her big brother Colter James, completing their family. Jordan grew up in Roundup and graduated from Roundup High School in 2015.
On October 2, 2016, her greatest joy came into her life, her son Asher Drake. Jordan and Asher had a very special relationship. As Asher’s mom she taught and shared with him a great many things early in his life, words, colors, letters, sarcasm, and music. They had an unbelievable bond over music. Their favorite song is Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Even as a small child Jordan was VERY opinionated which some confused as being “independent”. Though she was very independent she also knew that mom and dad would always be there to help no matter what. Jordan knew she had her parents wrapped around their fingers and if she said the right words like daddy, she could get her way. Jordan had the kindest and biggest heart just like her mom. She always tried to mimic her mother with her morals and NEVER hurt anyone. Jordan has looked up to her big brother Colter since the day she was born. They always had a special bond and always had each other’s back even when they did fight like brother and sister. She was happy to drop what she was doing to help a friend or anyone in need. But don’t be fooled because she was also not afraid to tell you what she thought.
Family and friends were important to Jordan, and she appreciated all for their love, help and support
When you think of Jordan, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
She is survived by her parents Jack and Heather Welch, her brother Colter, her pride, and joy Asher Drake, nephew Levi Welch, grandparents Bill and Lucy Zarn, great-grandma Betty Zarn, great-grandpa David Henton and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded by her grandparents Jack and Vi Welch, grandpa Steve Beehler, great grandma Theresa Henton, great grandpa Leo Zarn, and her uncle Skyleur Weber.
Services will be held on March 12, 11am at the Catholic Church in Roundup. Luncheon to follow.
We love you Jorge and mommy forever and always.
For those who wish, in leu of flowers, an account has been opened at First Security Bank in Roundup for her son, Asher or you can donate to Roundup Memorial Healthcare. You may also donate to a charity of your choice.
