Obituary for Joanne May Ray
Joanne May Ray passed away peacefully, December 18, 2017 at the age of 84.
Joanne was born January 10, 1933 in Roundup, Montana to O.L. “Boone” and Alice Kilby.
She attended school in Roundup and later married Ross Ray from Gage on October 28, 1951.
Joanne and Ross had four children, Daniel, Tom, Rosalyn and Donald. The family spent most of their lives in Roundup, but did have short stays in other small towns in Montana and Wyoming while working in the oil fields.
Joanne was a wonderful wife and mother. She picked up waitress jobs when possible and was a sales associate for Tupperware. She loved her family, friends, and playing cards and BINGO, and the color red. She is preceded in death by her husband Ross, son Dan, and daughter
Roz. She is survived by a sister Joy Grundstead (Billings), brother, Gordon Kilby of Roundup, son Tom (Roundup), son Don and wife Wendy (Park City), son in law, Jon Kaufmann (Grass Range), daughter in law Jackie (Shepherd), Grandchildren: Jake Kaufmann, John Ross Kaufmann, Mariah
