She attend school at Klein, MT, and then met the love of her life, George Griemsman, in Roundup. On Dec. 31, 1948, they were married. George and Frances began their married life on the Pronghorn Ranch outside of Roundup, MT. Later they moved to the Johnson and Ekern Ranch, known as the Snowy Mountain Ranch, in the foothills of the Little Snowies. During this time George and Frances raised three children, George Jr., Marilyn and Steve, on the ranch and incurred a lifetime of precious memories. As a ranch wife, Frances cooked many delicious meals with homemade bread and desserts. She liked to write stories and poems and was incredibly talented at writing, even winning awards for her poetry.
Frances is survived by her husband, George Griemsman of Roundup, MT, children George (Nancy) Griemsman of Roundup, MT, Marilyn (Glen) Roen of Worden, MT, and Steve (Linda) Griemsman of Worland, WY, 8 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchild.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, siblings Jim Malloy, Betty Johnston, Geraldine Sercel and Melvin Malloy.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held July 28th at George and Nancy Griemsman’s home in Roundup at 1:00 PM with a potluck afterwards. Please bring your lawn chair and join us in the celebration of her life.
