Eugene “Wally” Lile Hammett
Eugene “Wally” Lile Hammett was born on November 16, 1949 in Honolulu, Hawaii. At the age of 68 he passed away on June 26, 2018 at Eagle Cliff Manor in Billings with his family by his side after a courageous and hard-fought battle of cancer.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of 40 years and daughter Tana (Dan) and Grandsons James and Kyle of Roundup. Brother Robert (Meri) of Worden.
Wally’s pride on joy was taking his 30 Soto out for a drive and going to car shows. If he wasn’t working in a parts store or out selling parts he was out tinkering in his garage on his old cars.
Wally was very active in the Montana Street Rod Association, and the Marine Corp League
Cremation has taken place and there will be a family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marine Corp League # 903 in Roundup. (Mail to Tana Ray 1103 5th St W Roundup, MT 59072)
