Eileen Stanerson Danielson
Eileen was born on July 9, 1940 and passed away at 75 years old on April 28, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings. She was the fourth daughter born to William & Miriam Crawford and grew up in Musselshell and on a ranch east of town.
After graduating, she attended Eastern College in Billings for a short time before she met and married Bernard Stanerson on Dec. 26, 1960 They resided in the Musselshell/Melstone area for their entire marriage and as a result of their union they had 2 children – Julie & Tom.
Eileen enjoyed playing music on her accordion and keyboard as well as sewing, crafting and keeping her yard looking good – in spite of the lack of water and grasshoppers.
After Bernard passed away, Eileen was encouraged by family members to join them at accordion jams in the sharing of their music they loved. After much encouragement, she joined them and was hooked. It was at one of the accordion jams that Eileen met her soon to be husband, Warren Danielson and they wed in Aug. 1999.
