Obituary for Carla Ann Gosman
Carla Ann (Schenk) Gosman, 59, passed away May 7th surrounded by family at her home in Roundup. Carla was born on May 5, 1957 in Forsyth, Montana to Albert (Mike) and Ann Louise (Martens) Schenk.
After graduating from Winnett High School, she attended and graduated from Billings Business College. Carla became a secretary for American Title Company for thirteen years. She then moved to Roundup and started her business at Bull Mountain Trading Company. Along with her dogs, Pinky and Dottie, Carla successfully ran her business for 27 years, brightening the lives of many. Dottie will be buried with Carla and join Pinky and Carla in Heaven.
In 2011, she met and married Bryan Gosman. When she said “I Do”, she became a wife, mother, and grandmother and was very proud of all three.
Carla is survived by her parents, Albert (Mike) and Ann Schenk of Roundup, her brother Wes and wife Tami of Harlowton, her sister Robin and husband Russ of Monarch. Also surviving are nephews Will, Clay, Steven, and her favorite niece Amber Dawn. Carla was known as Sticker Aunt Carla to her grandnephews Ethan, Walt, and grandnieces Makayla and Emma.
Carla is survived by her husband Bryan Gosman, children Jessie Ann and husband Joe, Jake Gosman and grandchildren Raven, Ryan, and Derek and Father-in-law Dick Gosman. Carla was preceded in death by her grandparents Max and Zella Schenk and Art and Minnie Martens. Carla leaves behind many treasured friends.
Services will be on Saturday, May 14th, at 11:00 a.m. at Roundup High School. Graveyard services will follow at Roundup Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent in Carla’s memory to the Emmanuel Baptist Youth Center or charity of your choice.
