Obituary for Anne Jennie Zupec
The Lord knew that Mother was getting tired and called her home on June 11, 2016. She was born on July 5, 1923, in Bearcreek, Montana to Louis and Annie Heningman Ambrozich.
She was a coal miner’s daughter and traveled many places before settling in Roundup, where she met the love of her life, Joseph Zupec. They were wed on February 19, 1949, and from that union they had two daughters, Joan (Ken) Minnie and Roma Jean (Bruce) Hoiland.
Being a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she enjoyed reading, gardening, visiting with her neighbors (Lynette and Thelma) watching the Cubs and most importantly watching her grandchildren grow to be loving and caring individuals. There was never a time she did not want to travel to attend the sporting events for her grandchildren and just recently her great grandkids.
Anne was a life time member of the SNPJ Lodge, a member of the Methodist Church for 69 years and proud member, through her husband, of the United Mine Workers.
She is preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, brother and two sisters.
She leaves behind her daughters, Joan (Ken) and Roma Jean (Bruce), her grandchildren, James (Shannon) Hoiland, Matthew (Janelle) Hoiland, Stephanie Holland, Scott (Jamie) Minnie, Mark (Ashley) Minnie and Kim (Scott) Rupert and her great grandchildren, Ben, Tyler, Kylee, Caleb, Gab, Abbey, Sam, Rebekka, Avery, McKenna and Maddox.
Celebration of her life will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church on July 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at the Roundup City Cemetery.
