Obituary for Angie Lee Goforth
On Thursday, November 26, 2020, Angie Goforth, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 38. Angie was born on January 21, 1982 in Seward, AK to Jim Ross and Dorene Rathbun. On June 16, 2001, she married David Goforth. They raised two daughters, Mickela and Bethany, then adopted a daughter, Lydia. She received a bachelor’s in science degree at Bellevue University in 2017. Angie had a passion for helping others. She worked with youth most of her life and often brought children into her house and loved them as her own. She was known for her kind and compassionate heart, infectious smile, and her great strength. She was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. Angie was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa, and her mother Dorene. She is survived by her husband, David, her three daughters, Mickela, Bethany, and Lydia, her grandson, Matthew, her father, Jim, her sister, Tammy, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
