Alice began her life in New Liepzig, ND, born to Laurentina and Verne Thomas. Alice’s family moved to the Bitterroot Valley in 1934, where they purchased a farm in the Summerdale area. Alice graduated from the Corvallis High School. Marriage to Wyatt (Bill) Frost began in August of 1952. They remained in the Corvallis area and had three children, Terry, (LaVonne) Joy, (Phill Lloyd) and Sharon(Craig Wilson). Bill an Alice moved to Roundup, MT in 2000 to join in the ranching with Terry and LaVonne.
Alice was a great sports fan and loved to watch football. She and Bill where large supporters of the kids involvement in the sports they participated in as well as her two grandson’s, Trent (Ginetta) and Trevor (Marisha), who kept their days busy with travels to many games and meets. This awarded her pride in being able to tell of the accomplishments they carried into college sports and into their lives. From these grandsons and spouses, she was gifted with five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Annamiek (Garth and son Norris), Hunter, Wyatt (Destiny with children Sophia, Lincoln, Maverick and Finnley)and Branson (Destiny). Some of the last light in her eyes came when she could see her great-great grandchildren, Finnley and Norris.
Alice loved her flower gardens and was an avid oil painter. Many of her favorites hang in all the families homes as well as many friends she gifted them to. Alice displayed a lot of her paintings at the fair, winning many blue ribbons. Alice also loved working side by side with her friends in the Fair ground offices during fair week.
Alzheimers took its toll on Alice and she would be so appreciative to all those who cared for her during these times. Sunflower Gardens holds many close to her heart for their great care and love. There will be a private family internment of her ashes with her husband, Bill.
